EPAFLEX Polyurethanes® was founded in 1991 in Cassolnovo, Italy, as a manufacturer and supplier of polyurethane systems for the footwear industry. Over the years, EPAFLEX has grown and expanded its product line to better meet customer needs, adding the production of thermoplastic polyurethane granules (TPU) and polyurethane products used in coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers (CASE). Together with its parent company ELACHEM®, based in Vigevano, Italy, EPAFLEX forms a vertically integrated industrial group equipped with state-of-the-art production facilities.

Vertical integration in the polyester polyol supply chain with ELACHEM also provides EPAFLEX with a clear competitive advantage, both in the TPU sector and in the other polyurethane application fields, enabling the company to successfully meet the challenges of the global markets in which it operates. In 2023, EPAFLEX further expanded its presence in the Americas by launching EPAFLEX Americas, a wholly-owned subsidiary serving the North American market.
