TDI based EPACAST

Our conventional TDI-based prepolymers meet a range of property/application requirements and are formulated with a focus on ease of processing.

High performance TDI-polyester based prepolymer. The polyester backbone has been chosen to offer resistance to solvents combined with good wear resistance.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION:
• Scraper blades • Wheels • Rollers – lacquer and paint applicator rollers • Pipeline cleaning pigs

TECHNICAL DATA:

  • NCO: 3.3 – 3.7%
  • Viscosity @80°C = 1500 – 2200 mPa*s
  • Curative : MbMOCA

High performance TDI-polyester based prepolymer. The polyester backbone has been chosen to offer resistance to solvents combined with good wear resistance.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION:
 • Scraper blades • Wheels • Rollers – lacquer and paint applicator rollers • Gaskets

High-performance TDI-PTMEG prepolymer. The PTMEG backbone has been chosen to offer a combination of dynamic performance and resistance to hydrolysis.

• Mining and quarrying, e.g. screen decks • Internal pipe coating • Wheels, e.g. fork lift truck wheels • High load roller coverings, e.g. steel mills.

T 6Q20 is a high %NCO TDI-PPG prepolymer. It is intended to be used as a TDI precursor to allow for further conversion into lower %NCO prepolymers through the addition of PPG polyol.

MDI based EPACAST

Our MDI-based products include prepolymers formulated for specific hardness and ‘QUASI’ multi-component systems that allow the processor to obtain a range of hardnesses. Specific performance characteristics are determined by careful selection of the accompanying polyol chemistry.

The polyester component of this MDI-based prepolymer has been chosen to yield high performance elastomers with a good balance of dynamic performance and physical properties.

NCO: 6.3 – 6.7%

The polyester component of this MDI-based prepolymer has been chosen to yield high performance elastomers with a focus on excellent wear resistance.

• Scraper blades • Agricultural components.

NCO: 6.5 – 6.9%
Viscosity @100°C = 450 – 750 mPa*s
Curative: 1,4-Butanediol

High-performance MDI-PTMEG prepolymer. When processed with a EPACAST P4000/R curative the resulting short gel-time makes the system suitable for rotational covering of industrial rollers.

• Steel mill industrial rollers. • Paper mill rollers.

MDI/PTMG polyol based prepolymer. Exhibiting low viscosity at process temperature the prepolymer offers benefits in material handling and processing through dispensing machines.

High-performance MDI-PTMEG prepolymer designed to manufacture technical components ranging from 60 Shore A to 95 Shore A hardness.
